Review of 'M3LL155X' by FKA Twigs


Accompanied by an artsy music video in which Twigs gives birth to rainbow ribbons in the back of a van amongst other surreal scenes straight out of Salvador Dali’s nightmares, this latest 16-minute EP sees the London-born experimental singer continuing to alienate pop fans in pursuit of her own weird and wonderful style.

Review of 'The Church' by Mr. Oizo


Patience is a virtue that I sadly don’t have. Whilst I can see the appeal of atmospheric electronic musicians like Jon Hopkins and the Haxan Cloak, I often find myself clockwatching during the big long build-ups. An artist like loopy French house producer, Mr. Oizo, is much more up my street. He doesn’t allow time to breath, let alone check a watch. Employing AD/HD pacing, he cuts out the foreplay and assaults the listener from the off.

Review of "Love Death Immorality" by Glitch Mob


Glitch Mob’s debut, Drink the Sea, was rich in atmosphere and although the tracks were a little too quirky for your average night club they had a unique character to them that pulled in the listener. Love Death Immorality, the electronic three-piece’s second album, seems to be a step in the wrong direction.
